Football Retires Two Jersies

Former UVa running back Tiki Barber, the ACC Player of the Year in 1996, had his jersey retired during the Virginia Tech game at the end of this season. Defensive end Chris Long, this year’s ACC Defensive Player of the Year, also had his jersey retired.

The only issue I have is why did it take us this long to retire Tiki’s number?
